Bio

DaNice D Marshall (duh-NYSE, she/her) is a writer and narrative-based artist. After writing for decades, she transitioned to art when a serious vascular disease subsequently led to hearing loss. Despite these challenges, she triumphs and finds her voice through painting. In addition to showcasing her work on a digital billboard in Boston’s theater district, DaNice’s work has been exhibited in venues, such as the NIU Art Museum, DeKalb, IL; Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Boston; Piano Craft Gallery, Boston; and the New Art Trio, Newton, MA. Her work is featured in Naomi, a television series that aired on The CW Network and streaming on HBOMax.

DaNice lives with her husband, Ben, and their dog, Tigger outside of Boston.
