Art Season!

Sitting for VNDRZ

What an amazing Art Season it’s been!

I’m a sponge, as I go along gathering and retaining info, I’m different from a tumbleweed, because I’m not just gathering everything in some dust forsaken path, but more like an oasis. Chock full of mouth watering possibilities. As such, I’ve casually been allowed to select what’s good for my SOL 🥰

If there are times when I don’t know my direction, I proceed anyway. Truth is, when you’re not sure of which way to go, one direction is as good as another. It’s then that the whole point of the journey is revealed, that is one path is as good as another, so I just keep moving, you should too. Just keep going.

Recently, I was misunderstood and rather than to correct the person, who thought they had insight, I let it go. I let them believe a fallacy as my truth. It’s easier that way. Being a creative, I’m not confrontational, instead ai tend to shift, stay adapt and stay agile enough to get by.

Mranwhile, I’ve been submitting work, applying to projects and accepting commissions. This summer I completed an opportunity for a jazz theme and as soon as I cleaned my paintbrushes, another opportunity came my way. If you know me, then you already know that I stay ready, so I don’t have to get ready. “Oh, Ok & Yes”, being my mantra.

I have meetings and a solo show coming up in 2027, more travel in March and somewhere in between, I’ll paint. Always there’s time for art. Having a rare disease has taken some things from me, but it’s also gifted me with art. I’m so very grateful.

Thank you for following along on my art journey. You are appreciated. Stay tuned…
